Refreshments will be served and a $10 donation will provide a year-long membership in the Book Club.The Children’s Theatre of Western Springs presents the play “Treasure Island” March 2-11 at the Theatre of Western Springs, 4384 Hampton Ave. “Treasure Island” is recommended for audiences in third grade and up. Performances take place at 7:30 p.m. March 2 and 9; 11 a.m. March 3 and 10; 4 p.m. March 3 and 10; and 2:30 p.m. March 4 and 11. Cantigny Park’s Robert R. McCormick Museum, 1S151 Winfield Road, Wheaton, will welcome the Banna Irish Duo at 3 p.m. March 11. Banna Irish Duo’s music is a blend of voices, guitar and electronic accompaniment. Tickets are free, but distribution is by lottery.
